Dr. Hang is widely known and very highly respected in the orthodontia community. In fact, he’s considered one of the foremost authorities on Biobloc Orthotropics™ in the United States. One of his specialties is treating children and adults with significantly underdeveloped (small) jaws, by growing the upper and lower jaw forward and wider, to achieve facial balance.  He has been treating patients for TMJ, obstructive sleep apnea, a head forward posture, and some types of migraines for 20+ years — he is one of the pioneers in treating these symptoms with orthodontics.

Important Note: It is wise to get multiple opinions before proceeding with an orthodontia procedure for TMJ. There are multiple approaches, and orthotropics is one such approach.  Note that since orthotropics is not a low force orthodontic technique, some patients with TMJ muscle disorder may find the muscle tension difficult to manage.
